For many years, Thorley’s had wanted to introduce an Order & Pay app to their 19 sites but found the high cost for a bespoke app and the need for it to integrate with their PoS system was always a barrier.

The Solution
Kurve installed our PoS and Mobile Order & Pay App across Thorley’s 12 pubs, 5 restaurants and their multi-use function venue which was supported by our comprehensive web-based reporting software.
Due to the pandemic, trading restrictions meant all sites then shut down shortly after trialling the product but when lockdown restrictions were lifted, Thorley’s were able to adhere to the ‘order at table’ restrictions straight away. Thanks to the Kurve app, this put them ahead of many of their competitors who were yet to adopt this Order & Pay technology.
It was by far our biggest strength because it was perfect for the restrictions. Its use really took off with our customers and some of the takings we took through the app in those first few weeks of trading were phenomenal.
